I have not posted for 39 days. My very first message is that of forgiveness and love.
We all seek forgiveness. We all seek love. Are we seeking these from the right person?
And as we search for these things, do we have the grace to do the same for others? To say I forgive you, even as you persecuted me, even as you hurt me.
As Jesus died for us, he prayed for our forgiveness even as we continued to jeer and disbelieve, even as he was in great pain, even as he was dying for something he did not do. He did not have to do it, but out of his love for us, he died.
How can we then refuse forgiveness to others, to ourselves when the Son of God died for us, so that we would be forgiven? That which we receive, should we not gift unto others as well?
I ask then today that I may be forgiven for everything I've done to hurt someone else. I pray today that I may in turn forgive those who have hurt me.
For Easter is a time of new beginnings, rising from past hurts, being transformed anew.

In other words, it's good to have you back. That's one more thing for me to read. ;)
