On the same line, I was contemplating today that if I ever went missing during a weekday, my family might not know about it till a week later.
They'd just assume I was staying in hall over the weekend. Until their smses and calls go unanswered... A week later... Dun dun dun!!!
Of course they might also receive the warning letters from NIE that I haven't been attending school. This train of thought all started when I was cooking in hall. I wondered what would happen if the gas tank blew up and killed me.
People would probably wonder where I was if I didn't turn up for cell group or for meetings or didn't reply smses. Frankly though, I'm not sure if it would drive them into a worried frenzy.
It's possible to contact my home... It's just a lengthy process, but currently the few people who definitely have my home number are Lyndon and Mel. I'm sure you either know them or know people who know them. Don't need to mention relatives, but if you know any of them, great.
Yeah, so...er... if I don't reply any of your smses for 2 days, you haven't seen me for over 2 days in person and I haven't been online for 3 days, please give my home a call. I'd hate to be missing and have no one know about it till much later.

You've got GAS in hall? OMG I'm surprised the hall hasn't burnt down yet. In any case, an explosion is kinda loud, so you won't be going quietly. Therefore I guess ppl would know if it did and you did die. I'm not sure if you feel any better tho. ;P
