That new blogger beta is really nifty, I have to say. Easy to edit page elements format and what not. I particularly like the new archives look. I would really really like to move over to beta, but I'd lose all my carefully scripted HTML stuff, and I'm not into the scripting thing enough to bother or know how to translate everything into widgets/stylesheets etc. Otherwise I'd IMMEDIATELY move over to beta for the archives style.
Unfortunately I happen to like the way my blog looks now, and moving over would mean I'd lose some of the layout. Preserving the integrity of my page is doable, but I'd have to get down and dirty and actually WORK and read some information about their widgets system. =/ So the question is whether I should waste my time doing that or not.
It's not like it's my job. It could be a hobby, in that time-consuming sense, but any enjoyment I get out of it is minimal. Is it really worthwhile for a few moments of satisfaction?
If only I'd actually learnt Dreamweaver instead of cheating by doing my ICT project in Microsoft Word and in HTML...
