This site has gone through many changes. Most of them have been paved over, so you can't really see the origins, but it used to be named Carpe Veritas, not Existentialism, but seeing my theme has changed from truth seeking to dark and twisted questioning of life, it's only fit that the title of my primary blog be changed.
It didn't use to have a picture right at the top, in fact, t'were just a title, but I discovered photoshop, and it makes me HAPPY and I must show off. PRAISE ME. PRAISE ME! The previous photo can still be found in my 2002-2006 archives, and the little picture at the side column was variously text, pictures of myself (very briefly) and until recently, a moon chart (still available on Existentialism v1.0).
Am I going to stick with this format forever? (See previous post for answer) (Oh wait, I meant the one before that, not about the mooncakes.)
I've made a few changes, both obvious and subtle. Subtle changes involve the links above this post, just below the title - they contain links to my other progeny on the web, some barely thriving, some dead, mostly having nutrients sucked from them to feed this big monster...
Links to other blogs have been rearranged in some sort of updating frequency order. People at the top update the most often (according to recency) and you can be pretty sure the link at the bottom has not been updated since 2005.
I'm not so interested in linking to other sites unless I believe that it must be read Or You Will Die!TM, so most of the links stay put. Unless they're, again, hopelessly outdated or non-existent.
(Side note: Do you notice, by any chance, I seem to have this habit of interspacing my sentences with thoughts, usually with ifs, buts, and ands? I use an awful lot of commas. I wonder if I'm draining their supply in the civilized parts of the world.)
I don't link to you unless you ask me to link to you, or I feel something stirring in the cockles of my heart to link to you because you've very sneakily linked my blog. Meh.
