I hate the MacBook.

No, seriously. Why would you give me a Mac book I have zero control over? My only conclusion is that you have done it to torture me because you think I'm not IT challenged enough. It's like giving me a horse to ride because I'm too good at scooter driving.

Totally different vehicles.

Just because I am proficient at using Windows, does not mean that I enjoy it welcome or benefit from using MacOSX. I don't. I hate it. 

I hate it with the fury of a thousand burning suns. 

I hate it especially because it's a WORK laptop. Even if I were all that tech savvy, what on earth could I possibly achieve on a Mac when my hands are tied. Sure, I could probably whip up a few glossy videos but is that what I'm supposed to do? 

Fuck no. I'm paid to educate, and using a Mac has only made this more challenging because not only am I not USED to using a Mac, you're making me learn how to use one that I can't change that much. I can't use chrome to sync the bookmarks I've stored over years of browsing and resource accumulation. I don't have the functionality of Excel that I can leverage on a Windows computer. I don't have an updated flash plugin THOUGH my safari has updated. This makes no sense to me. 

Oh and the kicker? My organisation uses mainly windows operating system and is even mired in the depths of Internet explorer for full website functionality, so why on EARTH would you subject me to a MacBook if not to make my life more complicated?
