Imagine your parents tell you that because they love you, and because you love and respect them, no matter what you do or where you go, they will always keep a home for you to return to. Does it mean that you can go out and do anything you want willy-nilly? Not really.
Does it mean that you can do something so reprehensible that they will you deny you a home? I don't think so.
Does it mean you can reject that offer, turn your back on your parents?
If you really loved them, would you? If you didn't, then you never had a home to begin with.
